Hey, I'm about to open a new photoshop tutorials website with unique tutorials , and a unique&special wordpress theme for it. thing is that I don't know how to make good money from it. I had a site like that in the past that was making not much from adsense and the traffic maily came from tutorials indexs.. any idea how to market my future website and make money from it? thanks.
One way to market the site is to hold weekly photoshop contests and market the contests rather than the site. Contests are some work, but if members run them that takes it off your shoulders. Also, take a look at the DMXZone.com model, where some tutorials are free some are 'premium' content (I write some of their premium content). They also hold member contests, and they provide give-aways as well. There are tons of different marketing models out there - the trick is to find your niche and find a way to be a touch different than all the others...good luck!
