Hello fellow DP members. I am trying to build a list of safe hosting companies for members to buy from without getting scammed out of there money. This is not the place to advertise your own company saying its good or to post bad ones.. Here is the list of hosts to stay away from: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=450782 I'd like to add nuxsoft.com Anyways I will start off saying Hostmonster.com is very reliable I've had 100% uptime since I have been with them and they do have 24/7 online support.. Who can beat that? Please help this list grow. Mods: Keep this here as its useless to everyone if it is in General Chat.
Resellerzoom.com they are extremely reliable. PowerVPS.com have the most amazing service ever. Very good VPS's as well. Server4Sale.com provide amazing support for Dedicated Hosting.
http://www.topratehost.com/whcms has been super reliable and also http://www.zodiacsolutions.net has been reliable
These are the silly posts I that people shouldn't be saying yeah they're a great host. One of them doesn't even have a site just a billing system.

I find it hard for them to be considered reliable if all they use is a billing system with no site its self.. Though that is what I use for now but I am creating my site ^_^ Thanks for all the input so far guys. Reps for all that contributed.
If you go for hostgator.com ( which i reccommened , ive been hosting with them for 8 months ) Try the link in my comment you can get the first month for 1 penny
BlueHost and DreamHost have been said to be reliable, And for dedicated servers, ThePlanet.com is great
Along with the suggestions so far I think that Lunarpages should be too. I have had my shared plan since April and now have 11 sites on it with no problems.
To add to the 'STAY AWAY FROM' list - Warehousemonkey.com, when things go wrong they just ignore your emails!

lol. don't they send notification before banning your account, so mean better get a more reliable host. I am with webhosting.uk.com and m happy with them.
When it comes to dedicated servers- I trust Atjeu! I am using them since 2002 and their servers are fully managed. Its too good for developers who cant afford to have a tech just to maintain the server! Really A++ for them so far...
