he PMed me @ MSN and he said he saw my post in a forum which I post so I dealed with him with a trade my PP to his EG. I agree to wait 6hrs of hold for my PP, but then after almost a 24hrs I never receive egold to my eg account and he never replies to my PMs. I did a dispute to it hope I get my money back! I tried to search in google and found out that his ID is in here DP forums.. Just warning to everybody especially to the newbies.. I gave him a negative feedback.. but now his threatening me just look at His pm.
Anyone who does a PP/MB/EG exchange with a brand new, fresh out of the wrapper member is an idiot of the highest magnitude. Sorry gdibusiness but you fall into that category.
Just forward the PM to the mods. As far as the scam, you were an idiot fr sending him PP first. On top of that these types of trades are against PP TOS so you will be lucky if they do not ban your account. These trades are risky at best and it is your job to watch out for yourself. Trade with reputable people and you will not get scammed. Sorry I have no sympathy for the scam! Greed clouds good judgment. You may also be banned because you gave the guy iTrader in a thread you never did a trade in. You stated in your other thread that the trade was done on another forum.
and dealing on msn and not on DP is the #1 hint that you are being contacted by a scammer. mods informed lets see what happens [edit] there you go, cant ban scammers for scamming as there is no real proof, but you can get them banned for other TOS violations, all i did was look for them sirjocky banned
I sent a PM to the mods earlier saying both should be banned. The OP gave an itrader for a deal that was not done here on DP. So he should be banned for false iTrader too, don't you agree?
that is the rule, but you have to look at the whole picture, and having looked at what went on and who is clearly scamming who, the rules allow for itrader to be given without posting in a deal thread, this has been relaxed from the stated rule as people made bids via pm and did not want others to know who they are. also BIN sales are usually done via pm without a post in the deal threads. so i am more inclined to side and support the scammed member than a scammer. and i think the staff have the same view on this. the scammer was not banned for scamming, and i dont think for the itrader abuse, he was banned because i found enough TOS violations to force a ban, and i asked for a dupe account lookup too. so that might also support his ban, and the staff will look up both accounts for dupes, in this type of situation
I see your point but the original transaction was not even done here at DP, it was done at another forum. According to this thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=583789 , it was done in a forum called Goldage. I agree the scammer should be gone but if the transaction was not even done at DP, how can he leave iTrader here?
if i don't have any reviews from another users this don't make me less honest is only because i don't have anything to deal for the moment... i don't talk about others , i talk only about me
@allout: I really don't like to open this thread because I don't have proof in DP yet since I got a prontscreen in PM by that scammer and his already threatening me on such giving me negative itrader which is I don't deserve maybe. I contacted one of the MODS. This is not for me but also to all the newbies and to help to eliminated the scammers here in the forum. That is one of the point also here. I know I'm such an Idiot to deal with a newbies.
