Hello, I am hearing this days about a method to earn some nice profits from parked domains, the method is very simple, so to say, buying 1000 domains, park them, and earn from each 1$ a Month, if i earn each month only 1$ from each domain, i will earn from 1,000 domains- 1000$, the problem is, i cannot see this clearly, where the traffic will come from, if there are no links, no promotion to those domains, where the traffic will come from, if any? Appriciate for a good advise regarding this, Thank you, Joseph
That is the problem, Traffic Really I have parcked domains because I'm not using them, and I'm doing 0 Of couse you need to promete these domains, maybe you can start doing 1 a month. Remember buy .info, cheaper than .com, if you are going to buy .com for $9 a year, $9 x 1000= $9000, you will earn 3K a year , but if you buy .info $3 yearly, it's 3000, you will earn $9K, it's $750 a month Best, Jakomo
Parking domains 'seems' so amazing and great because you think you don't have to do anything, and it just automatically brings in the money, but really its not that simple. I have 70 domains, or around that many parked at the moment, and in three months i have made $20.00 which is now getting sent to my paypal woo But yeah with out marketing and promoting you wont get much from them, the 1000 domains = $1,000 a month, is rubbish unless you spend $10,000 on buying the domains in the first place. I think the best idea is to develop the sites, even in the simplest of ways, just make a blog, an auto feed your more than likely to make more that way. I have about 5 of my domains which i am going to develop the others i am going to sell as i don't have time to develop them all. I say develop! Will.
1000 parked domains wouldn't do so much but 1000 domains even simply developed would probably earn a dollar a more each a month
Make 1000 blogs about same topic.. Update 150 a day.. 150 posts aday.. change the posts slightly and you will have your $10 per month per blog..
Use an automated content builder. Submit Sitemaps. Use misspellings on the site You'll make your money and more!
It's against parking programs terms to promote parked domains... The traffic should be either from natural type-ins or from backlinks but these baclinks should be of the time before parking of the domain name.
@Joseph, If you want to buy 1000 domains and parked them and just hope tomake a dollar per name per month, it's better to buy just a few names for these money that have natural type-in traffic. There are people that sells their domains of this kind for a number of monthly revenue multiples.
Honestly, It's take a BUNCH of work, but if you could get traffic on all of those, and earn like a quarter a day/per, you'd be making on average 7,750/month that is REALLY good!
I have about 150 domains. But all them meaningful and brandable. Getting "direct" traffic. Average revenue for per domain 5-10$ daily. The main problem is finding some "premium" domains.
Just my .02 * If you have capital to play with, buy under 5 top level premium domains - they will get traffic if they are 4-5 characters and or great 1 word domains (2 sylables tops). * Do not park them - maintaining 1000 domains is insane - I have a client that owns 2000+ and it's a nightmare as not much preparation went into the acquisition of them, they are sparatic throughout the year, most are wasted, and they need constant attention no matter how much automation you try to throw at it. * Develop at least 1 preimum domain with a mfa or affiliate lander, you'll do well without the need for heavy marketing/out of pocket costs. * Always try to flip your domains (premium) for double their value, ppl are known to buy crazier things, this is marketing after all (monetizing). Why in the world would you want an inventory of 1000 domains to play with otherwise
Some domain food for thought... 1000 domains x $1 per day = $30,000 per month 120 domains x $100 per day = $360,000 per month It would take a little work and some marketing... but I would much rather make 4.3 Million per year, than $360,000 per year. All you would have to do is develop 10 websites per month. After a year you would have all 120 sites developed. Once the revene started rolling in, you wouldn't have to do much... but tell the developers and forum posters you just hired what to do.... And if you really put some work into it, I am sure that $100 a day per site, would be conservative estimate. Will this happen over night? Of course not... it may take 5 years to reach that point. But who would complain about being able to retire in 5 years? Aside from that, if you didn't quit, then you could create more and more sites, until you are really raking in so much money that you wouldn't even need an office... because you could run it from your private jet. Ok... maybe that was overkill but you get the idea.
I based that number on theory as if someone that purchased 1000 domains just parked them and didn't do any promotion. I would take a guess and say that is a very inflated figure for a business plan like that.
1000 domains * $1 / mnth = 12000 / year register 1000 domains each year = 1000 * ~$9 = $9000 so for a profit of $3000, you are taking quite a risk that you sites will earn $1 each per month. not worth it in my opinion.
