I think this is very not accurate :S It shows one of my sites going down from PR5 to PR 4.. impossible it has all natural backlinks PR5 and now i joined it to the coop so it should go to a6  . Oh well.

Thanks for the tool though, pr predictions vary according to the site always :)

Reading all this PR prediction and update threads I get the feeling that most of the members posting in this forum don't fully understand the link between backlinks and PR, as this is far from linear. I've written an article about how google PR works, I think it may be enlightening to some people out here. (http://www.tiemenschut.com/blog/index.php/archives/google-pagerank-explained/)

Most important reason why these tools are inacurate is that they use the PR from pages that link to you, but the PR of these pages isn't a fixed value! This is because the toolbar PR only gets updated every once in a while (as everyone outhere very well knows), while the "real" PR of websites is updated all the time.

    Maybe this solves some questions...

P.S.: too bad I can't post links now, so I've you want to read my article just copy/paste the above URL. If this is considered spam please delete, no offence meant.

Google is so unpredictable, I gave up on trying to please them.
To **** with PR as long as I get enough customers from MSN and Yahoo.

PR does not bring you traffic by the way, its only a green bar that indicates how important the page is in google. Instead work on SEO and you will have traffic.

What a joke of a program. How cares. How is that going to help your search listings? LOL. Make something more useful or find something else to do with your time cause this is worthless.

I predict a pr10 for my site, this will be after the next update.... I'll give anyone a link before this happens for only 100.00. Now I know I've got to give a guarantee, so here goes... I refund 50% OF your money if it doesn't happen... lol
