Why so many domain traders have red reps?

    Thats a strange thing.

    Looks like almost half of the domainers here are red.

    Any comments? :eek:

    I think its the internet version of the ambulance chaser. Just my thoughts that domain trading doesn't have much money in it anymore so the industry is starting to get some bottom feeders in it.

    No offense to anyone that still plays that market.

    Yup, I thought something close to that too.
    Only people who were lucky to register good names back then are doing well now.

    But on the other hand everyone needs a domain...

    Half of the domainers are red because they post all kind of stupid stuff just to reach the post count to be able so sell.

    Of course, start posting junk in the forum and you will soon be red...

    People that pay money for a domain usually are doing so because of the DMOZ listing. or the PR. They fail to see that these are dependent on the last content and linking of the domain and will most likely at somepoint drop.

    The buyer is then mad and gives the seller a bad rep even though they got dropped from DMOZ because the content changed from a russian web development site to a health site on the clap.
