When you pm people that they most of the times never pm back??

It happened to me so many times. I deal a lot in them link section (or at least I try) and people post a topic and say pm me with offers. Well being kind and nice I pm them an offer, but after that I never hear a thing anymore. Don't you think it's rude. I mean they could also pm no thanks or something. Just to let us know whwre whe stand. No I wait days and after I have waited a week I just give up on the deal.

Wouldn't it be just a nice policy to always reply when ASKING FOR DEALS VIA PM??? a simple No thanks would be more than enough and much appreciated.

Ah thanks for letting me rant.

I agree. Why not just post the offer for all to see? Usually because they are just trying to sell you something through their affiliate link.

i get over 100 PMs a day some times. When people spam me saying "would you like to buy this" etc or the dull offers that you dont like, i often get lazy and cba writing "no thanks".

When people see you have lots of itrades and spend $xxx a week at the DP shops you get lots of pms....

It is their own personal choice. Some people are simply too busy, and cannot reply to everybody.

You can't impose a rule on someone- they need to follow it on their own.

There are buyers who are genuinely interested, but do not like the quality of the link. At the same time, you have guys who post ' PM me ' without ever intending to buy in the first place.

There's enough pming going on already without the "no thanks"

You sent someone a pm, be sure he read it. If he's interested he'll pm you back.
It's not personal, he's just not interested.

I'm quite happy it's that way, I don't need hundreds of pms saying "no thanks"

I myself am guilty of this sometimes. I'm a very forgetful person. Sometimes I get to read my PM's and I end up forgetting to reply to some of them. :( I'm guilty. Stone me to death! huhuhu

Do you send thos because people ask pm's in their post or just because it's handy.

It is annoying but if you were not interested in an offer via PM, would you still respond back? ;)

Maybe people are too busy these days to spare a second

No I would not respond If I didn't ask. But like I said 2 times already. I am talking about people who ASK for pm's. Not those pm you get that are irritating.

    Don't PM people.

I hate getting PM's out of nowhere. That's really annoying.

I usually reply, but if someone ignores something that I specify then usually I just delete the PM.

For example, I usually specify in my link posts that I'm not looking for directory links, but you can be sure that someone will PM me anyway. If they can't be bothered to read my post then I don't see what I should use my own time to reply.

What it basically boils down to is, if someone doesn't respond to our PM they are not interested.

    That's the whole reason.

If I get a PM talking a lot of crap, I'm not going to reply. That's probably the same for all those who get PMs from me that they think are a load of crap :D
