Forgive my ignorance. But I don't get it.

How is it beneficial for the domain buyer? It just means that we have more competition for the keyword. And rightnow if I check at wordtracker, I can find just 15 searches/month for "greedy bitches" and just 3 searches for "greedy bitch"
So you mean to say, almost a million google results for a keyword which is hardly searched by surfer is a positive factor?

But I agree that it is a nice brandable domain. Probably a nice gift to the Greedy ex wife too. LOL!

 

Actually, I forgot, theres someone on this forum as well that has offered $100 also but I still would not say thier username. If they had intended to bid publicly then I can only assume they would have done so and no disrespect meant but frankly it is none of yours, nor anyone elses business who bids on what name. I would not want some loudmouth revealing my private bid so I will respect anothers wishes to have the same privacy. I can only assume from your question that you think I am making it up these other bids I guess, which is ridiculous because firstly we are only talking a measly 100 bucks here (which I would not sell it for anyway) and secondly I would just say $100 minimum if that was my intention.

Hi Neo, no prob. I'm guessing you dont know much about search engine optimization. The reason it's a positive is because with that many results, clearly it is an often used phrase and therefore very brandable. The reason it's no problem that it is such an often used phrase is because as anyone into SEO knows, having the keywords that you want to rank highly for in your domain name is a huge advantage. I had this site online for awhile and it jumped up to #1 for "greedy bitch" on googles results almost immediately after putting it online.

 

I offered $100 dollars here via pm a few days ago. Seeing as that upset the kids I'll make this one public. $150 offer. Thanks.

 

This is so annoying when people cry and complain about wanting to know who the bidder is. Obviously by your posts it's 10x out of your budget of $15, and he lost your "business" not because of keeping a private bid, but because its out of your budget for this domain.

Who cares if the OP doesn't display the bidders name. Possibly the bidder doesn't want it to show up in search engines, or have his peers in the DP community know he's bidding or has bought a domain name like this one.

DP only allows us to have one account, so it makes sense for some people to request the OP to not be public about there bid.

If you don't like the way the auction is being run, simply leave the thread and don't look back.
