I've tried a couple different designs and here are the results... I might enter and do more soon, but here's what I've got so far:

Hello Again,

I am really impressed with the designs and would like to thank everyone that posted a design concept. I appreciate the work that everyone put into this.
I will provide feedback on all of the designs submitted to this point. I am leaning towards selecting one, then working with the designer to make modifications. I would hate to have everyone modify their submissions then not pick them. But if you want to you are more than welcome to make modifications based on the suggestions... with that said here's the feedback:

CelaCG - 1st Attempt - I actaully like both designs, they are clean.

neilparnham - Extremely nice design, clean, the graphic seems to be a little large for the text and I was wondering if something similar to a play button (horizontal arrow) could be used instead. At this point you are one of the top contenders. Thank you for your entry.

Ariestoteles - 1st Entry - This is not what I am looking for, but thank you for your design.

CelaCG - 2nd Attempt - I like the top design, again clean and simple. I am not a fan of the bird wing on the bottom design.

zilox - Interesting concepts, not a bad idea with the musical note, and the one with the red arrow is interesting, kind of reminds me of Star Trek... but don't think they are what I am looking for. Thank you for your entries.

scorpionagency - Thank you for your entry, but it's not what I am looking for.

MikeEisME - Nice design, clean and simple. I like the microphone idea, definitely, but the microphone itself seems kind of wide and the cord is really long. You are a contender.

nicogarcia - Thank you for your entry, but it's not what I am looking for.

affy - Really hard to read, Raptor could be easily confused with Dayton. Thank you for your design, but it's not what I am looking for.

mac crazy - Fun concept and different from the others, the entertainment font is nice, but it's not what I am looking for.

Bad Warrior - Thank you for your design but it's not what I am looking for.

coolwanz - Interesting design, different from the others, but I am not a fan of the lettering or the eye. Thank you for your entry.

shibildg - Thank you for your entry, but it's not what I am looking for.

Ariestoteles - 2nd Entry - Better, like the concept, but looks a little too cartoonish and not clean or crisp enough. Thank you for your entry.

xpressions - Very good concept, I like the top designs, not the bottom ones. I would be curious to see some other color sample as far as the graphic, like blue or red and possibly some other fonts. You are a top contender. Thank you for your entries.

hecky - Thank you for your submission but it's not what I am looking for, too basic.

matafixer - Interesting concept, but not what I am looking for. Thank you for your entry.

eruct - Interesting concept, but not what I am looking for. Thank you for your entry.

SuperBlog - Very good concept, I like the top two designs. Actually the pink stands out, not crazy about the blue color. Curious what it would look like in red. Also want to make sure the final image would be crisp (The blue entertainment looks really grainy). Also I like the font for raptor entertainment, but I am not a big fan of the www.raptor-entertainment.com font. Interested to see what other fonts for the web address would look like. Also if you win, would I be able to get the source files such as a transparent png? You are a top contender. Thank you for your entries.

pklz - Thank you for your entry, not a bad design, actually like the microphone image, not the placement or the font.

mynd - Interesting design, you're the only one that went the way of the airplane, but different is always admirable. Unfortunately, it's not what I am looking for, but thank you for your entry.

asif2BD - Thank you for your entries, but they are not what I am looking for. The ones with the couple would be an idea if all I was going to do is weddings, but I am going to start off hosting karaoke, and some small private parties, then eventually graduate to weddings.


Thanks again to all that submitted entries. As I said earlier I don't want to waste anyone's time but that is my feedback so if you want to make changes and upload them you can. Also as a note when I do make a decision, I would like to be able to get the logo finalized quickly and with high quality source files. Also would like them to be transparent if possible like a png. I will post a message in this forum as soon as I make a decision.

I've tried them out in red with some different fonts for the part you suggested. Let me know what you think; I'm not quite sure if this is what you're looking for. Thanks.
