The blank google ads

as noted before the adsense preview tool shows an error when using it on DP. that ONLY happens when the URL has been banned. so i'm pretty sure you are wrong on that count. the URL in the code is just for adsense tracking purposes, not for ad serving purposes. as the 'banning' happened on Saturday, as i've found from dealing with a clickbombing attack, they'll take your ads down on a weekend but probably won't get it resolved until the next business day (Monday/today).

i do agree with your last statement...who cares if the site got banned. it doesn't affect the board or anyone on it.

 

You are only good at ranting. Your first argument is bogus,A site can be partially banned which means a part of site like these forums might be banned but rest of main site digitalpoint stays fine. In this case publisher's adsense code would work on every other site he/she owns or part of the site which is not banned, i hope its just some glitch in the database or some thing. Even if its banned i am pretty sure it shall come back.

Yup how can anyone tell if its DB problem, i am sure shawn is mature enough to announce that its a db problem if it was actually a db problem, doesnt shawn not replying to thread mean or hint towards anything at all ?

 

I have been lurking around on these forums for pretty long registered in jan this year and i have read alot of her posts and i tried to explain the confusion she had which made her laugh and if you have any problem with it you can shut your eyes and mouth as well.

Something just resides at the back of my head. This is an ad-sharing revenue forum. Does it ever occur to you that if the ad is not displaying; that ad could actually belong to the thread starter?

But, if it's true that all the ads are not displaying in DP, then I think Shawn must be kinda "worried" at the moment. It's a revenue loss, unless we all don't know what's going on in the dark.

 

I agree, nor will I if DP is banned or suspended.. Shawn seems like a smart guy who can find other sources of income.

True be that.. However I think that if Google gets enough complaints from advertisers saying that DP forum produces alot of click fraud you can bet Google will listen and possibly suspend the account until they research and figure out an appropriate action.

Smart idea, and yeah I think I agree for the most part.

He probably is currently discussing and possibly debating the suspension (if that is the case) with Google. Why give an answer if you dont have an answer to give.


Shawn might not be on Vacation, and if he is, he surely has his laptop and internet connnection with him..

Or someone else is useing his account.. (doubt it) LOL

Like I said, he too is probably trying to figure out what is going on and does not want to give an incorrect or incomplete answer. Either that or he is being amused by this thread.. LOL I'm sure that's not the case. He seems like a very business savy individual IMO.

 

Strange... I seem to have 1 page impression from my DP channel today.
But I still see the Ads are blank
Maybe its AdSense channels playing up.. Dunno..

On MSN the rumors are that Shawn is hidden information and refusing to explain but replying to a non-sense WTB petition.

I do be believe sooner or later we will learn what is going on and I'm beginning to take seriously the DB theory after broken profiles' thumbs and wrong time shown in the bottom.

He will sell if somebody offers him the right price, but it is way above the market value.

Let me tell you what I know from a pal of mine working in Adsense team. Several IPs in Iran clickbombed on top forum ads since April. He talked about several millions of clicks. For weeks, Gmail Anti-Spam Unit reported to Adsense system about millions of spam emails containing Shawn's adsense code (using the same top channel). Shawn's forum url channel was suspended just days ago, as the team cannot fight against this type of attack. Advertisers continued to lose money of invalid clicks, in which Adsense System has no way to filter them out 100%. Now only the forum channel is banned, but his whole adsense account is now being investigated and will possibly be banned.

Shawn mentioned once that some kind of terrorist was blackmailing him to fund their so-called energy machine. I think it's not energy machine that those terrorists want to create. This adsense ban might link to as far as Al-Qaeda!

I heard that this had something to do with JFK and Britney Spears. Others have linked both of those people and Shawn and the Scientologists to Area 51.
