Hello, My name is Brandon. I am a freelance content writer who has done work for a wide range of topics and web sites. Normally my work consists of movie/game reviews, feature articles, finance/business related, hosting (apache, cpanel, introductions, etc.), copywrite, humor, and lifestyle articles. However, I pride myself on being concise, using a unique style, and appealing to readers and therefore I believe I can handle any topic. I have excellent grammar and spelling skills. I have been writing since I was a child, but only for the past three years have I been doing paid work in the freelance field. My rates are extremely flexible however I generally prefer $0.02 to $0.03 per word at the base minimum depending on the type of article. Over time, as I prove myself to the employer, I do hope for additional payment for articles. Price reductions will be given for large orders of articles. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I have plenty of examples available and they can be e-mailed to you at any time for your reference. Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon. Regards, Brandon
Im interested please pm me with more details also are you interested in a full time forum posting job?
Interested... First I would like to see examples. Also I want to know why you have a red rep. I also want to know how you guarantee timescales and how quickly you can deliver large numbers of articles. Send me a PM... Cheers.
My rep is red because my posts are too short and like 5 people were stupid and left me red feedback because I bumped a thread
Sorry to bother you, you just seem pretty experienced in the area... I've been writing for years, sometimes according to set specifications. Still, I've only just started out in the online writing business and, naturally, I'm pretty confused. I don't know the first thing about where to get paid writing comissions, how much to charge per word etc. I wouldn't want to challenge your offer, for example, I'd just like to get myself started in the field. Any hints and tips?
Yeah, just search through some forums (here, sitepoint, WHT, etc.) and find some people who need writers in areas you enjoy writing in or are experienced in. Do some good articles for them and you can gain some references. To start, you could also write a few free articles for various places just to have something to show to people about writing quality since everyone like examples. You always want to have something to show so that people know what kind of quality they should receive. Pricing is all relative. It depends on how much time you think it will take to write articles. Some require more research, some come more naturally, etc. It just depends on how long you think it will take you.
