    Hello everyone,

This is for the more experienced of you (who had bad experience unfortunately)...

I have a new website, on an 8 years old domain.
The website was a kind of spam site of free traffic, becuase of a good domain name.

So, I bought that domain and now I launched my website (1 month ago).

    Now the interesting part.
I kind of pushed my site pretty hard with backlinks. I got many backlinks in short time, all from PR3-PR8 domains, and almost no PR1-PR2 domains..

I mixed very well, and even got 2 .edu and 2 .gov links without rel=nofollow.

Now, I don't know if I pushed too hard.
I'm afraid that google banned me..

    Now my questions:
    1) How do I know if I was banned? or if I was only sand boxed?
    2) I already got into the first page on a very strong keyword at MSN. How long will it take me to get into Yahoo?
    3) If google banned me, can I get back somehow?

Please tell me what you think guys.
I would appericiate your help a lot.

    Thanks!
    K

    1) How do I know if I was banned? or if I was only sand boxed?
-try to check if your site is already indexed... and if not how long?... theres also some tools to check if your site is ban like: http://www.selfseo.com/google_ban_tool.php

    2) I already got into the first page on a very strong keyword at MSN. How long will it take me to get into Yahoo?
-It depends on your optimization.. as far as i know yahoo focus more on Onpage factors..

    3) If google banned me, can I get back somehow?

    Well answered bogs

Regarding sandbox issue, i have disagreement, it still exists

I too pushed one of my domains too hard like getting 1000s of links withink a span of 3 weeks, and got myself up there in the first 10 serps, but it started going down down and out in another few weeks, tried hard again with more backlinks and more onpage optimisation, again with the same results, the same repeated again after 1 more month, since the last one month or so it has stabilised and started gaining in ranks and seems to be holding

Strange things do happen with SEO, but you call it sandbox or not, google dislikes new sites when they gain [forced] popularity
