Pirate Bay being sued

here is a quote by the lawyer: "Ron Goldman LLC will never be able to stop these pirates from posting that book online, but they can do that in the poorhouse," Goldman attorney David Cook told reporters.

that might be the best approach to stop the torrent sites, alot of big companies suing them for every dollar they ever will own

TPB Is not down anymore :).
I thought TPB was protected by the governement of finland (or sweden), so this won't have any effect.

when will people stop trying to sue pirate bay?
I'm sick of America thinking it can apply it's laws to different countries

the fuck does that have to do with copyright or piratebay?
    seriously

Well, if Sweden didn't want it's citizens to be subject to other countries laws then it shouldn't have ratified the Universal Copyright Convention in 1961. They also shouldn't have become a member of the Berne Convention (which sets up international copyright protection), and it certainly shouldn't have become a member of the executive committee of the Berne Convention.

I for one use pirate bay but i think there search results suck some major ass. Iam so missing demonoid right now they had accurate search results you type in a name of a movie or game etc.. and it brought all of them up if they were there with pirate bay you type in a name of a movie you get about 20 other different movies shows you gotta search threw to find yours there search definitely needs to be fixed.

All Goldman has to do is leak that "The Pirate Bay" has WMD and Bush will move in on Sweden. Besides, they have a great Logo, leave them alone.

I'm thinking the same thing, they've had so many legal threats, I had a good laugh reading them.

The Pirate bay are even trying to sue the media companies who DDOS their servers to try and take them down XD, it seems they found proof.

I agree with you 100%. TPB has had this problem for years and never fixed it for some reason.
