2 domains @ $8.50 - GO DADDY!

    Hi all,

Just found out a very nice discount at GoDaddy. Normally, a domain would cost you $9.20 each. Using the $1.99/domain for every non-domain purchase discount, you can have 2 domains registered for $8.50. Here's how:

    1. Register/Transfer 2 domains, but do not checkout yet!
    2. In the Domain > Backorder menu, select one year of the most simple backorder ($4.95/year). For some reason, this purchase count as two non-domain purchases and therefor you get both domains for $4.48+$4.95 (yearly!).
    3. Enter the code "SAVENOW" to save 10%. Your subtotal: $8.49!

You basically register/transfer 2 domains and still get the nice backorder thing for $8.50! :D

    Hope this helps!

Seems to be working for me.
but I used the AMAZON3 code

    Another update
If you are actually logged into your godaddy account the $4.95 backorder only counts as one purchase. So logout setup the cart then checkout. The kicker is if you want privacy enabled at the time of registration you have to be logged in. Privacy right now is free at GoDaddy if you order it on 3 or more domains. In which case you could add 3 backorders and 3 domains use the AMAZON3 code total is 19.41 or 6.47 a domain. If you need to register more with privacy I suggest doing 7 back orders 7 domains and using code gdh010381 or gdh010330 for $10 off a order of $50 or more. Which comes out to 7 domains for 40.33 or ~$5.76 a domain with privacy included.

    Great price for dot coms.

    One more update:
Was a theory now its confirmed, I was able to successfully register 7 dot coms as I outlined above for $40.33.

Thanks a lot, I have no idea how the 1 backorder = 2 products tips work, but even with 3 or 7 pairs of domain/backorder, it work well. However, sometime I wonder whether the code is there to help me save or waste money :) certainly many domains wont be purchased if it is not discounted!

Actually, I found that you can also replaced the backorder with other cheap services. I choose DomainNameAppraisar since the backorder is almost useless to me... check out this thread: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=50067
