    Congrats! There are not many high paying jobs on DP, but they are out there. Stick with it, and you ll find plenty more of those in the future!

    I'm not entirely convinced of that. :) After all, I have a few substantial ($xxxx) projects come through DP on a regular basis - and I don't write sales copy which commands higher rates. (That means there are clients on DP willing to pay big bucks for content and articles. :) )

    Congrats on the check; spend it well. :)

    If your client offered his name as a reference, don't be afraid to use it. Connections matter a great deal in the online market.

    Again, enjoy your earnings and stay positive about your future. Your friends are just jealous.
