So how does the script work? I mean... How does it find songs? Is it some kind of spider or does it feed from some other website? What happens if that website/database goes down?

 

It feeds from a file download site that has been around for a while. I doubt they're going anywhere as well - they're making quite a bit off of advertisements right now.

If they do disappear though, then I'll release a version that crawls Google for MP3s. It doesn't get nearly as many results, and they aren't nearly as good quality, but it would work. I also have another file hosting site in mind if this one goes down.
