After learning that adsense can possibly pay you for views and not clicks )How are you Paid?), what happens if you are actually working on a site with the Adsense in it, refreshing it when you publish a page to make sure that everything is correct?

Are you penalized or rather do they take that into consideration?

Not only working on it but just viewing your own site! I asked someone at the plex about this and they said that viewing your own site had been accounted for but not to test the fraud algos by doing it too much. No they didn't tell me how much was too much :) Drop them an email telling them what you are doing if you are worried Corey.

That's interesting. I'm at my site all day long. There's also people out there buying those so called 100,000 visits for $10 thing. I'm sure not a lot, but there are still people who honestly fall for that scam.

if you're doing site development you can add a "google_adtest=on" tag to your code.

I emailed Google about this because whenever I post on my blog and published it, I always view it. The answer is exactly what is written in there FAQ.
