It's not illegal, but it's against AdSense TOS.

Being against a TOS and breaking the law is two different things.

    Law:

legal document setting forth rules governing a particular kind of activity

    TOS:

Terms of Service (often abbreviated as "ToS") are s by which one must agree to abide by in order to use a service.

And, I've read the TOS literally at least 10 times. It's one of my "must do" newbie rules I pass down to everyone--READ IT AT LEAST 3 TIMES. ALL OF IT. Make it your friend. If you understand the TOS, you know your limits. Any doubts, e-mail AdSesnse. I've sent them at least 30-40 e-mails regarding specific issues in the last 6-10 months.

You can sent to jail for one vs. being banned from a service for the other. We always have this discussion when people bring up illegal vs against tos... wow. You won't get sent to jail for putting your ads next to pictures, but you will be banned. Get it?

    in simple words,

Legal implication can lead u to criminal liabilities.

TOS implication will only be related to Ban

    makes sense?
