Considering selling some proxy sites.

I have not fully decided yet, but I'm considering selling a network of proxy sites

surfblue.info
surfbrown.info
surfgreen.info
surfgrey.info
surforange.info
surfpink.info
surfpurple.info
surfrainbow.info
surfred.info
surfwhite.info
surfyellow.info

Some have had some promoting done in the form of link building, some have not.(Mostly topsites, directories, etc.)

They have been making less than $1 a day recently. They build up traffic, then kill my server, start building traffic, then kill my server, etc. That is the reason I'm considering selling them. There have been times in the past when they have brought in as much as $8 a day when the server stayed up for a while. No, I don't have proof, so assume no traffic/revenue. I've had too many server problems, and computer problems at my end, to even begin to try and dig that info up. Sorry but it just ain't happening at this point in time. If I keep them I need to get a better server. I'm not sure I'm wanting to go down that path right now so I'm exploring the option of selling them instead.

If I do sell them, they need to be removed from my server ASAP. I would give a copy of the files just exactly as they are to whoever bought them, and push the names to their account on Godaddy. Surfgreen.info might be acting up right now, I don't have time to fix it if it is.

So, is there any interest in them? If you are interested, let me know what you are willing to pay for them. If I get a good enough offer I might just sell them. Payment would be by Paypal.

No, this isn't an auction and there is no specific end date in mind.

 

Are you selling the entire network or single sites?

 

If I sell, I would like to sell the entire lot of them as a set. If I get enough offers for single sites, enough to sell them all, I would consider that as well.

 

If I were to assume no traffic and revenue, I would only be able to offer $3 a domain.

I believe they all expire about the same time. It might be in 3 months. If 1 does, then I think they all do.

 

Just an update. The sites are all down. I had the server turned off. This last week spammers took over the server and used it to send out terabytes worth. The hosting company is holding me responsible and has charged me for $1100 worth of bandwidth overages because of the spam. This is part of what I meant by server troubles. So if you try and pull up any of them it wont work.

I'm also throwing into the mess the following domain names as well to be considered as to whether to be sold.

Mrsocko, yes I still have it in back up I *think*. I will need to break out my backup external HD to verify, but I believe I do have it. I did make a backup of the database just before it was turned off, that I know I have for sure. The script is downloadable for free, as are themes.

I do not have the entire proxy-topsite.info site backed up. What I have is the database for the site, the zip file for setting up the bulk of the site, and what looks like a skins folder. If you give me access to your server for a bit, I should be able to set it back up.

Another offer while I was replying.... If you make an offer, please state what it is for. I have added a few names/sites since the first post. Otherwise I will have to assume it is for the original surfcolor themed network of site alone.
