E-Gold Question...

Could someone PLEASE explain to me how to use E-Gold.. The basics of it..

It's with Gold.. How is that converted to USD, etc?

I think I may be brain dead.. But anyways, could someone please explain?

I have an account, just trying to add E-Gold as a payment gateway for my members. I have read through and just cannot figure it out.. I might be slightly retarted.

First of all E-gold is a digital e-currency based on gold meaning your funds are transfered in gold and fluctuate based on gold price ..let me explain you.

Let's say you use an exchanger and transfer $100 from your bank acc. to exchanger acc. After fees you'll get about let's say $90 deposited in your E-gold account .. E-gold automatically transform your $90 in gold grams ar the gold price ... $90 will make about 3 grams of gold at $30 per gram rate.
You may list your balance in gold or in dollars. If you prefer to list your balance in $dollars ... E-gold will allways transform your 3 grams at daily exchange rate between $ and Gold ..
Exemple ... tomorrow gold price will raise to $31 per gram .. then your balance will be 3 grams x $31 = $93 (so .if the gold price rise then your balance rise as well coz your founds ARE STORED IN GOLD and fluctuate by Gold price)

One more question... You can't transfer from bank to e-gold can you? The only way to start generating balance in your E-Gold is just people sending you money?

who will take bank wire or western union or cash deposits in banks or checks etc

and fund your e-gold

u cannot directly fund e-gold from its site..

that means

e-gold is just a stored value

which u can buy and sell virtually with anyone in the world

 

like in paypal you send USD/any currency. In e-gold you send mostly funds in oz/troys/grams..
The worth of the weight is then displayed in the inside of your account according to gold value.

You can send/receive the oz/troys/grams in worth of USD/EURO to other people.
You can also later outexchange your e-gold funds with several reputable exchangers, to have them to
wiretransfer you the money.

You will find a wealth of exchangers on the net for e-gold, but try to use those that e-gold has listed on their site.
They are usually the best: to many fake exchangers that newly started in business. As time will pass you will
hear about what other people use for outexchanges, and perhaps you would then like to try other exchangers...

Paypal = chargeback + frauds..

belive me its a kids payment solution

its known myspace school kids use it to chargeback ppls and have fun.. they even buy items from ebay (laptop mobiles etc) and after shipment charges backs..

there is no protection for the sellers for paypal..

that is exact reason why e-gold was invented..

but every good thing has a bad thing.. e-gold became scammers paradise... now the sellers started to scam with investment ponzy programs and autosurfs (deposit and receive instant % daily) some traded stolen credit cards and child pornography etc..

and e-gold got indicted..

and the game again gone to favor of paypal..

(i mean in favor of myspace school kids who will scam the sellers)
