Man, makes me want to become a hacker and live my life making viruses for the Mac... just want to shut them smug fanboys and Steve Jobs up.
its true that a mac cant get a virus or spyware. But someone can still hack into it. Macs dont have any firewalls? I was hacking into someone G4 the other night for fun. I was seeing everything they were doing. So just keep that in mind
Please explain to us how a Mac "cant get a virus or spyware" A mac can get anything a PC can get....trust me....

Freezing your system so you can't boot it without a reformat does seem like an excellent way of avoiding viruses.
Okay i'd like to point out Macs can get viruses, it's just less likely because no one bothers making a virus for macs unless they really don't like people using mac OS. People who make viruses want to piss the maximum amount of people off they can (or a certain group), thus they go with a windows virus. Macs arn't popular enough. I wouldn't say macs have better virus checking software either, if anything it's worse. It all comes down to the fact that they have less viruses, they arn't any more secure than a windows based system.
People are starting to create viruses for MAC's because well.. with MAC's commercials making them more and more cocky saying how great they are and how bad windows is and such just makes people want to prove them wrong and have tons of viruses.. But all these MAC's without firewall just makes it so much easier
