I think it's a very good idea to black list the low paying ads. I tried it but still the same results. Is there any way to do it the right way? What do you think of it? i saw this site sometime december --> adsblacklist dot com maybe it will be good for you.
You should use your own black list. With real sites appearing on your site. I've tried myself and think my income grows up aprox 20%, but is diffucult to be sure that black list was the reason.
No, but if you look at the domain name you can get a good idea of who is trying to rip you off. example, alltheindustrials.com, 8bestsites.com, etc. These sites buy low and flip the click for profit, which is not something you want.
How do you check what sites appear on your site? You have to see them, right? You couldn't be sure of every site that can appear because you don't have such log , right?
You can see urls sometimes on ad or you can download googles tool to see the urls. Any site with adsense ads on it usualy pays you low. They are usieng your traffic to make them money. Just check your site and look at some sites advertiseing. Tf they have mostly adsense ads block the url. Same deal could be said about some clickbank sites.
i accidentally clicked my ad because i'm trying to figure out what domain is exactly advertising my site.I just want to copy and paste the domain name indicated.
when i'm trying to copy the domain indicated in the link this site displayed http://www.best8sites.com/business/motivation-leadership/Motivation/Motivation.html
Email google and tell them this. You don't want to run the risk of being banned. Also, look around the forums for tools to help you with this.
You can do it with: - A javascript program, and - A server to save results For second step I'm using with Google Analytics. You will find a good page explainig this method here: http://asp-net-whidbey.blogspot.com/2006/03/tracking-adsense-clicks-with-google.html NOTE: With latest browsers (FireFox and IE7) that kind of scripts can't tell you the advertiser URL .
How long have You used this option to track Your adsense clicks.. Have You ever receive email from Google Support that is against their TOS ?? Thx in advance for replay
More than a year. No. IMO is not against their TOS. Could you tell us why you said that is against their TOS ? (which TOS sentence). This is a method similar to that used by AdLogger.com (when it was popular). But because the change made on AdSense Javascript a few months ago, this method is not so useful. Now you can't get the URLs of advertisers, only your own URL where AdSense has been clicked. Anyway this method, if used with Google Analytics or similar, is still very useful to locate several "factors" with higher/lower conversion percentages: keywords on search engines, countries, banners, paid links, etc.
Be nice if someone would share their blacklist. Seems like publishers need to retake control of their ad content. If we were pickier ad revenue would be higher.
You can try blocking eBay (ebay.com, ebay.co.uk, ebay.ca, ... ). Their ads appears on many different niches, and maybe on yours too. I don't know how much are paying their ads now because is in my blacklist, but several months ago their ads were in the low paying segment.
