    Hi

Just starting on my new project, and found a great theme for the site, well I think it is. Anyway, can I have some opinions on the website, ie colour scheme and anything that looks good or bad.

    The site is www.premiershipglory.com

    Cheers

    Hello Glen Downey.

I had a chance to go over your site tonight.

    My Thoughts

    Header
I like the header. It shares what your site is all about simply and uniquely. I do think you should include your domain name in there somewhere.

    Background
Not to keen on the background. I find it a bit to much when I scroll.... hard on my poor old eyes....

    Navigation Area
Your navigation area looks fine in FireFox but it totally moves to the bottom left in Internet Explorer. Actually... when I say bottom left... it goes underneath all the content...

    Images
I find that the text is to close to your images.

    Conclusion
Overall... it seems to be a good blog but I find that some of your features need minor adjustments.

This review was done with 2 browsers, FireFox 2.0.0.9 & Internet Explorer 6.02, on Windows XP SP2.

    I hope this is helpful.
    Respectfully,
    Lhlalyam

I think you dint placed ads properly you should have added them between each topic or at middile of the page noone will look at your ads and it will result to very less clicks

Actually your idea that I will get less clicks where the ads are now is wrong. With very minimal traffic of around 20UV a day I have gotten 2 clicks per day from that traffic. But I did plan on putting a large rectnagle in the top article but that would mean taking out the image to fit the ad in and i'd much rather have the image there.

Thanks Lhlalyam for your review, +rep added, and got any ideas how to get the sidebar fixed in IE?

    Cheers

The only thing I could suggest for this is have a coder look at it. I'm not a coder but know of a good priced and hard working coder. If you would like, I could forward this persons DP user name. Please pm me if you are interested.

Just one point here, agree with Lhlalyam - the background makes my eyes go crazy and puts me off reading content.

I assume you mean the grey bars that slant and mae the page fuzzy?
I've removed that and made it dark grey, does that look better?
Also, I have had a go at sorting the sidebar problem in IE out, would someone let me know if it looks better in IE please?

    Cheers

    Hello again Glen Downey....

The IE fixes seem to be working... The only thing I notice in IE 6.02... is the bottom link text seems so small that it is almost unreadable.

Very nice design. Did you make many changes to the original design you found?

    Thanks mrinfofinder :)

@greenberry thanks, and yes I have made a few changes to the design, taken a fuzzy grey background off and replaced with just a dark grey background, and changed the sidebar color from white to a light grey
