    It's a website - stumbleupon.com
People bookmark webpages they like, and other people can randomly look at what other people have bookmarked from a toolbar.
Bloggers & webmasters like to have their sites stumbled so that they get more visitors.

That doesn't make sense. StumbleUpon sends traffic to a lot of the most respected sites on the 'net. Banning accounts for getting SU traffic wouldn't make any sense.

In my own experience I had a site that got as much as 10,000 visitors from SU in a day and Google never said anything about it. I didn't make much money off it either. Stumble traffic isn't real big on clicking on ads.

The people who get banned for using Stumbleupon all participated in groups that stumbled each others sites or paid for stumbles, do you think they wouldn't report them to AdSense?

That's just nonsense I'm afraid. Stumbleupon only sends people to the bookmarked page and essentially that is the same as bookmarking a page in your browser and then clicking it to get there.

The entire page content is loaded and Google + others only see it as traffic coming from a referring link.

I use it for traffic as well, and digg.com. The thing with both digg and stumble is that you have to get atleast somewhat involved in the community. I had one stumble user just post a link to a post on my site on her blog. it was just a one line review that said something like 'well written, good job' and those 4 words brought 200 people ot my site in a day.

I couldn't agree with this more. The key to getting the best out of any of the social networking sites is, well - to network. You can just fling some stuff at them and hope it sticks, but to really benefit from them you have to join in.
