    I joined Yahoo just today and tried hitting chat rooms but couldn't find a single real human :D

    it's all full of bots (wondering what is this sick capatcha doing) but I always test bots by this simple phrase

    and I never get a reply back :D

    anyone had any luck with those bots ? :D

    People fight where? Other than bots no one is easy to find and i don't think bots fight!

    There is hardly anyone on Yahoo chatrooms these days. That's why I prefer to chat using YM.

    I remember about 5 or more years ago I was able to chat on yahoo chatrooms... found lots of chatters willing to take their clothes off for cam to cam... found that rather disturbing.

    those bots are everywhere! Hope yahoo would do something about that.

    Yeah. I don't like the chat rooms either. If I'm going to chat with someone, I'd much rather chat with someone that I already know. It's safer that way too... ;)

    I haven't visited chat rooms for a while either... I suppose these are a fading fad. Even when I did use chat, I mostly used IRC - Yahoo chatrooms seemed to be too wild. Instant Messaging is my tool of choice now.

    last time i used yahoo chat rooms was about year ago and i had the same situation
    bots in every room :mad:

    why u spend 45 min anyway chat rooms is wast of time in every where:confused:

    The captcha was probably the worse idea ever since it only served to annoy real people who want to chat in Yahoo chatrooms and ultimately discourage them. But I think that there are still rooms where real people can chat in Yahoo chat. Of course if you go into Chat central you will find mostly bots, even when there are real people they are only there to find other real people to PM they don't really chat inside the room
