Google is Squeezing the Last Drop

of blood out of its publishers. Pretty soon Adsense will no longer be the best method of monetization for publishers. Someone will come along with a better and more profitable (for the publisher- not Google) system. Google will collapse in its own hubris (look it up I don't expect you idiots to know the meaning).

You've got some balls coming into a forum where people are making a ton of money from adsense and declaring adsense is going down the tubes. Then you go so far as to insult the inteligence of the forum. BTW I don't need to look up hubris to know that you don't understand how you're using it. If by hubris you mean google is making adsense better for advertisers (assumingly leaving the publishers out in the cold) you're half right. By improving the profitability of adsense for the advertisers incomes will increase the CPC for publishers, so while the CTR might decrease, the overall earnings should rise.
Here's a word for you to look up:
    You're a Neophyte.

Lets see if you can make it to 10 posts before you are banned. Good luck.

Which most of you are lacking...you settle for crumbs from Google and as I said before have an orgasm when you make 50 cents.

I never said adsense was going under.. I said they will crumble when someone comes up with a better alternative for the publisher..which will happen in a free market.

As for being banned..this is the USA we have free speech at least until Google stops it.

You are no more than a Google sycophant ...yeah look it up

Haha, no joke, synchophant is actually my favorite word. Its from the lyrics of a song by Choking Victim called 500 Channels.

I understand what a free market is capable of, I'm not a Keynesian or Socialist idiot. But what is important in a free market is start up capitol, and opportunity costs. There are only a few companies in the world that have the startup capitol to build a network as advnaced as adsense, and they've failed at it. i.e. Yahoo, and Microsoft. Sure Microsoft has as of this week vowed to wage an all out war on Google in terms of grabbing a piece of their 14 billion / year industry, but Adsense is still king of contextual advertising. But for a current company to invest the money into building a huge ad system there are also opportunity costs that mean they are actually losing money since they can't invest those funds into venture they already know are profitable.

THere are of course better alternative based upon your niche. Affiliate marketing in particular. If you'll notice, ShoeMoney's largest check picture from adsense is 139K, but from his affiliate market program Azoogle, its 500K.

Given there are idiots on this forum, when you insult the forum the intelligent members come out and make you realize your intellectual shortcomings.

These kind of threads seem to be a tachytelic trend from people who - for some reason - are stressed and aesthesiac.
But as long as this evolution doesn't become zymotic, I can live with it.
It looks like the mathesis with regards to your adsense experience wasn't optimum, lasvegas. I suggest a soboliferous approach.

I think there is a explanation for your recently reduced earnings and it has nothing to do with you.

Google's stock has dropped 100 points over the last couple of weeks and in order to get it back up (besides the pumping from CreditSuisse) they need to dramatically improve earnings to show investors how great the company is....so if they take dollars from the publishers (who don't have a clue as to what their earnings SHOULD BE and who will never complain anyway)..Google can send that stolen money directly to their bottom line...that's how a monopoly works..they wind up with all the money.

Guys. I am on your side. You just need to realize that if no one ever spoke up we would all be working for the company store.

YPN already tried that. A lot of people switched to YPN - but then they ended up banning a ton of publishers.

You're an idiot - adsense will and always will be profitable for a ton of webmasters.

"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. Do not allow evil to triumph. Do not do sit by and do nothing"

    Edmund Burke

We can see what you are saying LasVegas, we think google is a monopoly too. But so was yahoo before it. Google will not last forever.

    In history, nothing ever does.

Take a chill pill and relax, sounds like you have had a bad day.

Hope things work out for you.:)

Of course Google can't last forver, that's impossible. But ok, lets say we all put out a class action lawsuit like you suggest in another thread you posted in earlier. Best case scenario everyone sees a one time check of xx, xxx or x,xxx and goes home. No more adsense etc. then the people who would earn more than x,xxx lifetime are majorly screwed at the expense of people that are upset.

Becasue the truth is most honest people are earning decent money with adsense, or at least that's how it seems. But shed some light on the situation for us. How many sites do you have and what are your monthly earnings? How long have you been with adsense? Do you use Azoogle, Kontera, Adbrite, or any other programs to add to your adsense income?

Recent drops in earnings are probably connected to decreasing the clickable size of ads. But that is a good move long term for Google, the advertivers and the publishers as we should all already know.

I thought i was the only one going crazy. I noticed the change in there ad format as well. The entire ad in no longer clickable, only the ad title and url is. My earnings have dropped significantly.

I don't know what this means in the long term. I can only assume its bad because I don't make as much anymore as i use to with adsense due to the change in their ad format.

well you adjust when they adjust to make up for your lost clicks. I made my key banners one size bigger and it helped.

Its uncalled for calling people you don't even know idiots.

I was thinking about getting one of those scripts that have adsense like ads but instead serve clickbank ads where you don't have to settle for 10 or 15 cents a click.

many people have reported a decline in ctr , mainly due to adsense new ad click policy , it hasnt really affected me as ive been concentrating on link units, but the CPM surely has gone down for me this month.
