Oh please, you can't seriously attempt to credit Bill Clinton for the IT boom that just happened to occur during the time he sat on his fat butt in the White House?

JFK at least blew off the Presidency to cheat on an attractive wife with attractive women.

I wonder if JFK also had the state patrol pick up dates for him?

I doubt that JFK ever exposed himself to a flight attendant.

Hmmm... the Bay of Pigs vs. the massacre of American men, women, and children at Waco. It's a tough choice, but I would have to give the edge to JFK because he did eventually spend $62M in U.S. tax dollars to ransom the men who survived. Bill Clinton just had the survivors imprisoned and got Charles Schurmer to manage a cover-up.

You could say the exact same about anything anyone accomplishes. Just because slavery is gone doesn't mean (theoretically) it can't come back  . Just because we've had one civil war doesn't mean we won't have (theoretically) another one.

Want to chime in on what a president did that was so great the problem could never be repeated, theoretically of course ;)

I can give a list a list of reasons for each of the others as to why they were great at least in one major accomplishment (maybe not Andrew Jackson). I still haven't heard a good reason for Clinton to be considered "great"

Wow. Amazed to see Ronald Reagan winning on an SEO forum. I thought most geeks tend to lean to the left.

I say Ronald Reagan or Abe.

Well I may be hated for my opinion,, but I will have to go for GWB..

To be in a position as he has been since his presidency, is tough to say the least.

Bush has had more natural disasters than any other president.. all the tornados in florida, Katrina, Rita and many more.

Has had terrorists attack our homeland and went after their asses

I am a veteran and I think that he aint backing down from all of these wimpy ass liberal, left wing cry babies and actually doing what he said he was going to do is commendable.

Now yes he has tried some things that he thought would boost the economy,, but you can't blame the loss of jobs on bush,, as the unemployment rate and job outsourcing to other countries I believe hit an all time high right before clinton left office.

But with the new fed chairman taking over in 2006,, all you left wingers out there that are wearing tye dye shirts and have flowers all over your volkswagen buses ( or just a closet left winger since you dont want to look like an ass when the democrats screw up),, their will be something else to blame on BUSH. Since throughout history the change of the fed chairman has destroyed the economy in the first 3-6 months after taking that position. He will have to Raise interest rates and cause 100's of 1000's of homeowners to default on their mortgages causing a surplus of housing, loss of jobs, banks not wanting to take the homes back into their possesion so going to the mortgage insurance companies and collecting on the deeds... or.,... lower interest more and cause the value of the dollar to drop which would hurt just as bad if not more.

I vote for bush.. I dont think clinton or any other president would have done the same thing and stuck by there guns like GWB has.. ( well we know clinton wouldnt have since he could have taken out osama years ago but decided not to.)

Once again I can go on and on about the predicaments bush has been in since taking office.. Going after terrorists, Corrupt CEO and Commitees, Disaster relief etc etc ....

Like i said a lot of you want like my vote but GWB all the way for me... and Reagan was a real close Second.

I agree with every word, Bush deserves credit for preventing terrorist attacks in the whole world.

And to all people that complain about the constitution, do you prefer to have large scale attacks every single month in your country?

    exactly latehorn

Bush has had to face the last years of the clinton administration, natural disasters and combat terrorists,, and combating an attack on home soil hasnt been done since pearl harbor,, outside of a few embassy bombings and aircraft carriers ( all done by the taliban) and pearl harbor their has been no presidents faced with all the challenges as bush has.

Im sure that some of you voted for bush and the others voted for the fake war hero Kerry, which makes since as all democrats vote for something then vote against it when the overall population says it was the wrong decision.. no balls..

I served in the army and I am proud to have a president take a stand as bush has, I have a brother over in Iraq now, and he says they are doing a great service over there and thinks it was the right decision as well as the majority of the soldiers over there.

Its the media and dumbass politicians who think it was the wrong decision because they have the fear of hurting their voters feelings and lose the chance of not being re-elected.

And yes, republicans will win the whitehouse again in 2008... I dont claim to agree with every decision that has been made by the bush administration, but regarding the war on terror and iraq I agree 100%.

Why do you limit yourself to every month, why not every day. Do you remember the Clinton time when there was 2-3 attacks a day in USA?

    I'm with you.

No one is perfect, but I agree that GWB has made some very good and very difficult decisions in his time in office.

Some people are not willing or able to make difficult decisions. Some people are not willing or able to think strategically. GWB has done both and our world will benefit from his decisions for decades to come.

Now if only we could fix his thinking on some of those domestic issues. :(

Ronald Reagan straightened out the economy and won the cold war. Both pretty impressive.

Jefferson also ranks at the top.
