Nice pup Grim.. Is that a Mastiff by chance? My best friend from High School has 3 of them.. 2 are show dogs.. Lots of money in those animals, and man do they get BIG!!!

 

I am getting a kitten this week. We are training it up for my mother-in-law who lost her husband earlier this year.

 

My wife just got us a kitten.. We have too many animals...

A Bullmastiff, a little smaller than a normal mastiff.

Kitties are cute, I have 3 cats, wonder how they are going to like the dog!

 

Let me know if you need anything, seriously! My buddy knows everything and anything about these dogs.. He has two boys and a girl.. The boys are show dogs, one is a Grand Champion, whatever that means.. They are bull and english.. apparently he is going to be breeding soon.. I guess his are supposed to go for $2500 a pup given the line and the champion status.

They are surprisingly gentle given their size.. My buddy was amazed by the power of my Lab by comparison... You'd think my lab was a masiff as big has he is.. He is one crazy mutha ...

 

Yeah the prices of them are nuts! Especially if there is a champion directly in the breeding! Since I just wanted a pet puppy I paid a bit less

Yeah they are supposed to be very gentle for their size, guess I'll soon find out

 

I think Grand Champion means 5 time winner in a competition.

Apparently they do it to fatten them up before a show.. These dogs eat a lot!!!

I have a bullmastiff myself! He is 4. Rocky. They are gentle giants. Kids come and lay on top of him and he doesnt mind. We have a baby here and Rocky is so gentle with her. Bullmastiffs are family dogs for sure.
