    What are some good mega tags to use? Currently I have:
    <title></title>
    <meta name="description" content="">
    <meta name="keywords" content="">
    <META NAME="Robots" CONTENT="index,follow">

    should I add anything or remove?

    can use -

    <META name="Copyright" content="Copyright Statement">

    Although not many search engines look specifically for the Copyright META tag, it clearly specifies the terms of ownership or licensing arrangements directly in the headers of your webpage. Generally, search engines do not read and/or store this information.

    Use if you want to indicate your work is copyrighted.

    He's asking what metatags are good to use, not how to add more junk to his code

    <title></title> and <meta name="description" content=""> are no doubt important for almost all major SEs.

    But <meta name="keywords" content=""> is rather controversial. You better check out http://forums.seroundtable.com/showthread.php?p=1096#post1096

    <META NAME="Robots" CONTENT="index,follow"> is not necessary unless you want to exclude your page from search engines. :D

    Okay....

    you are talking about <META NAME="ROBOTS" tag (and NOT CONTENT="index,follow" attribute), which should be used when you want to make it like <META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW">

    i.e for excluding....:) otherwise.. CONTENT="index,follow" is default.

    :)

    When you sign up with some search engines, they ask you to place a meta tag with a code on your home page so they know you're the owner. I forgot the name of the Search Engine or Directory. But it's only if you submit your website TO them.

    That's a good question. Well, I haven't tested it myself. But I sure hope a page with <meta name="robots" content="noindex,nofollow"> will NOT have a PageRank.

    I said some directories, not search engines like google. Some directories try and verify your the owner by using that method.

    Sorry I didn't see page rank before.
