According to my adsense stats I get about 5000 hits/day and typical page sizes in google are about 70K

 

I'm not sure I understand...
Regardless of traffic, In-Text ads are not a suitable service for sites with little text. In some cases, there's simply not enough keywords for In-Text to be effective.
If you have another website you want to try, send it and we'll have a look.

i sent you a PM and you didn't answer me, i also sent e-mails to Kontera support center. they didn't reply either.
where is that great support everybody talks about?

I don't get lots of visit in my homepage (800 visits a day) but I have a gallery with a lots page views a day (7000-10000).
- Is Kontera suitable for me (fansites)?
- For some reasons I have to use VPN to connect to internet, would it be ok if I use VPN to login to my Kontera account?
- do you send checks to Germany?
- I use Adbrite, is it ok to you?
- can I put Kontera in my gallery? (elisha-fans [.] com/gallery) (around 100 words in pages)

one more question
i wanted to apply to become a publisher but it asks me for initials. what does that mean? where should i find it?

I regret your wait but I did reply these exact questions in a different forum (Earners ).
We receive at Kontera hundreds of support questions a day and we try our best to get to all of them, sometimes it's hard. We are working to improve our system in a manner that would prevent issues like you're describing.
Thank you for your questions and here are the answers as you can find in your other post:

- do they accept fansites?
We have many fan sites in our network as well. All sites are accepted so long as they contain textual content, and provided that they comply with our Terms and Conditions (no drugs, gambling etc. see our T&C)


- For some reasons I have to use VPN to connect to internet, would it be ok if I use VPN to login to my Kontera account? (adsense terminated my account because of that)
There's no problem with using VPN to log in to your Kontera account.

- do they send checks to Germany?
Yes, and we work with PayPal as well

- I use Adbrite, is it ok to Kontera?
You can run any additional ad service so long as the ads are not In-Text

- can I put Kontera in my gallery? (around 100 words in pages)
Generally 100 words is enough but we have to see the page to determine the density.

I wanted to apply to become a publisher but it asks me for initials. what does that mean?
In the registration form, you have to type in the first letters of your first and last name. For example John Smith would be J S. This is considered a signature when submitting an agreement online.

i think i made a bad mistake.
i typed "IDK" (stands for I Don't Know) in initials form.
what should i do know? should i apply one more time?

 

I have a question. Does revenue per click vary depending on site content? I ask because I ran Kontera for a several months. It started out paying me an average of 4 cents per click. Then it dropped to an average of 3 cents. The last straw for me was the day it hit 1 cent per click. I removed it - I'm not sending visitors away from my site for 1 cent. But I see others talking positively about it. I'm wondering what kind of RPC they are getting.

 

This is new to me. Do i need to contact Kontera or is there an (hidden) option to switch payment methods.

 

i used Kontera for my blog before for almost two months testing,
my totally earning is around $40 for 60,000 unique visitors and 150,000 pageviews per month,
honestly it is not acceptable and waste my time.
and the main point here is my adsense revenue was decreased at the same time.
therefore, no reason to keep Kontera anymore.

 

A problem i witnessed was that Shopping.com bids on almost every possible keyword. My site gets in-text ads leading to shopping.com 80%.

And any click to shopping.com generates usd0,03 (or less) only for me.

 

Yes, I notice that, too. And often the ads that popup are complete nonsense. So on top of paying so little per click, the nonsense ads result in a rather lot CTR.

 

they pay John Chow dot com $1000 per month,
if they pay me $150+ per month for a 60,000 unique visitors monthly blog, i might install it.
so sad that i have to earn more $60 to reach the minimum payment requirement.

Regarding changes in cpc, fluctuations are usually due to changes in advertiser demand. Most often, advertisers have budgets set for certain months, and pay more money towards the end.
Other than that I need to see specific sites before I respond to questions/ comments of this kind.

Our ads are geo-targeted. Where are you viewing the site from? If it's outside of the U.S, you are seeing ads targeted for none U.S area. Recall that your U.S site visitors are viewing ads relevant and targeted to their area.

 

please provide an option for us to set the paypal email in the backend

 

We are currently working on upgrading our publisher center in order to allow publishers more and better options of controlling their accounts. Updates will follow
