google's new policy to avoid accidental clikcs and click fraud

the aim is to reduce the accidental clicks all opver the ads

earlier we were allowed to click any where on the ad
but with a policy change now google will only count a clikc if some one clicks
    on the ad title

this hurt us publishers a lot as this feature is not introduced on the google search page
    whats ur say

I dont believe this will hurt publishers unless they have been relying on accidental clicks (tricky placement?). It is possible that this may reduce the chances of a site being smart priced and therefore eCPM could increase. It is too early to tell for sure how this will go, but so far my CTR and eCPM have not had any noticeable changes.

Think of it this way - 'how can this change hinder anyone who is interested in an ad from clicking on it?'

EDIT - Today has been one of the top 3 days for me for the month of November

This can hurt a lot of 'blackhat' publishers, but they are only being fair.

kentuckyslone is very right! :D But some publishers do adsense arbitrage, and google is trying to fight against that!

I have only seen an increased earnings difference and it looks as though the URL, not just the title, is live.

It's good for long term because advertiser will trust on adsense and invest more money to play on content market. in the future, CPC will increse.

I'm afraid that this could harm Google own income. Read here for adwords user experience
