I am just wondering why all these MFA scraper sites are still in business. My sites are having problems with these MFAs that seem to be automated and post excerpts of my content on theirs, link to me and plaster Adsense all over their pages. Checking some of them in Google, and most of the time I see zero PR and some are not even indexed...banned possibly. In addition to wasting a lot of domains (that get banned from the index) what are they trying to achieve? They are nowhere to be found in the search engines, not in Yahoo (although stupid Yahoo and MSN still index them). This is also proof that Google is the superior search engine. But anyway, they are nowhere to be found anywhere. I wonder how they make money...do these idiots register hundreds or thousands of domains and automate them to be scraper sites? A nice Adsense ban should close down their entire network...that would be sooo nice, eh? If you guys want, I'll post a list of all these MFA sites, for you guys to report...hey helps you with your boredom if you have nothing to do... Don't you get angry seeing these sites linking to you, and stealing your stuff? You log in and see your account filled with cents and get angry that there are many idiots out there who truly deserve to be banned from Adsense, and are happily running all these MFA scraper sites...stealing content...etc, while innocent publishers get banned and these scumbags keep theirs...
These sites pop-up daily by the hundreds, as hard as they try to remove them they will always be there.
I'm sure Google tries to disable them all but...one MFA site can be built in 3 minutes. All you need is a program that has file batch search/replace (for your pub-id) And I think Blogmaster is right.
MFA people generate thousands of sites at once. Generally on subdomains. Google, as standard practice, bans individual subdomains, not the main one. At least until theirs A LOT of banned subs. And by the way, a lot of MFAers DO get banned. They just keep backup accounts under other people's names(friends and family) or occasionally switch to an adsense alternative.
Even if they generate thousands of sites, but these sites make almost nothing per day, since they get next to no traffic, why are they still at it? Are they not worried of getting click bombed from some angry surfer....and I bet they would not dare to report to Google...imagine an MFA creator complaining to Google about invalid clicks on his shitty MFA site...the irony...Google would probably reply with an outright ban, LOL
Heh. Well, ok. Let's say the sites average out to maybe 1 cent per day. And the person controls 100 domains(a good sized mfa, but not the largest). With 100 subdomains each. I can assure, you this is not out of the ordinary. That's 10,000 cents a day, or 100 dollars a day. Beyond that, just because you're SEEING it as an MFA site, doesn't mean that's it's only purpose. They can serve as launching points for other sites, or more likely, can serve as Adsense arbitrage sites. And no, they're not especially worried about being click bombed. One person doing it every so often won't affect their account. Google is a bit slow to throw away an income producer as large as an arbitrage site. Also, they probably have 20+ other accounts on standby. Btw, if it is serving as an arbitrage site, they're probably make more than 1 cent per site per day, but it's also probably smaller scale. By a little.
