I do not often agree with suggestions on here but I do agree with Sammy! If you see many of the scammers who get caught, they have done stupid little low dollar trades to build iTraders and then they strike by taking people in big deals. I see it as a good idea to making a $10 minimum deal before you can give or receive iTrader.

As it stands, I quit looking at iTrader and I scan though the members postings before I deal with them, often times you can spot a scammer by just reading their posts.

agree there samantha pia, perhaps there should be a minimum $ slab for an itrader.

Still don't think that will work for private transactions under that, the ones that say "PM me"

There should be a minimum transaction before itrader applies, like 5-10$+. or you could even take it further and make it so itrader has to be reviewed, and set up a team of itrader moderators? thats the only way this problem can be completely stopped.

Nick is right, reviewing the iTraders would definitely help. However, we don't want mods to have to say "Please provide us with screenshots to prove that you have spent $x.xx for this service" and stuf...there is no absolute way to prove someone actually paid/got the service right?

Agreed with 100% , everybody can " bought " iTrader in BST for 1$ or less , thats why when I'm dealing I'm looking at least 5 Itrader deals which is really waste of time

Apart from moving off the threads, infractions and bans, is this possible to show up the amount involved in the transaction in a user's iTrader profile. Though, thius isn't even a good solution as this would be abused as well. But this could solve the problem a little.

Reps and iTraders are just now-a-days being abused and don't show up much about a user's good credit history(lol) There are many users with 11 peeps of green blocks. WHy don't we increase the number of rep points needed to get 1 block? from 100/200 to 150/300 or so? A lot of active posters do get good reputation by general talk, not just in General section, but in non-General sections. ALmost-all threads are being directed towards being a Chat Box except for a few sections. Reputations are being sent by new users saying similar "please rep me back" or "hope you'll give me back" and similar quotes.

I'd say the complete reputation system needs to be disabled, as this seems to be of no use now. Anyone can easily get good reputation by "luck" just by repping others users and get more points as gifts from them.

I totally understand and am on your side, it gets abused way too much... but the moderators just don't have time to check thousands of itraders to check if they were forever $10 or whatever.

Also with the thread that ghost.d0wn made he won't get 1,000 itraders because the thread was posted in the freebies section and itraders can't be given for the freebies section :)

Apologies for the bump, but this thread is a clear abuse of the iTrader system.

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=561278

S/he's giving away free things and getting iTrader for it; already has 114; now, were I to conduct a business transaction I wouldn't think twice with the 114 under the post count, but a load of those are free?
