Stop words= words ignored by searches Poision words = words that hurt you (debatable) Ive always heard discussions on so called poision words.. but i dont believe in it to much.. unless you overuse the words or they are totally irrelevant.. cause look for insteance the word forum how can it be a poision word when so many forum rank number 1 dp for example. if "forum" really hurt your rankings wouldnt dp and other be buried in the listing.. I do know that some words can hurt you if they are of an adult nature cause we all know that adult content is filterd by default on the searches.. Other then that there is absoutly no evedence that any search engine penilizes for so called poision words..
