    Hi

I have a directory website with huge traffic but fear that Adsense may ban me if I put it on the website.

My reason for this fear is that Directory websites are often opened with the help of Directory Submitter softwares which might be against Google TOS.

I would like to know Can we put Adsense on Directories?

Please express your views on this topic and help me

    Thanks in advance

I have adsense on my directory for about 5 months and it earned less than $10. You can put adsense on your directory, but I suggest you try something else, like affiliate links.

If you ask me, a directory is a great place to have adsense. Higher percentage of conversion rate for the advertiser as most people look in directories because they are looking for information to buy something.

90% of the visitors of a directory are webmasters that are almost ad blind. People that want information to buy something, usually search the web with Google, Yahoo, etc because it is faster and easier than to browse through a lot of directory entries. That's why the CTR is very low for directories.
