Easiest way to create a forum in intranet from scratch

    I need to create a forum for internal use , like <ip address>/forum will take intranet users into a forum
    So far I have installed apache in the machine, what else do I need to install to setup a forum .

    You would also need to install php and mysql. You can then download one of a number of open source forums that come out of the box and ready to run. These are the free ones that are most well known.

    http://www.mybboard.net/

    There are plenty more out there just search on google. Once you get php and mysql I can install any of these forums for $20 dollars if I can get ftp access to your document root.

    I tried https://www.phpbb.com/ which is free and it seemed fine and then I think there is a custom version of it b/c I saw some advanced interface and functionality as in Sharecash forum.
