Hi guys You may like to take a look at this topic: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=45987 and all other topics at "site sale" forum - or perhaps other sales forums. Don't people know that they shouldn't add comments to others sale? for example: Just a negative comment based on assumptions. again: who asked people to advertise the page rank or describe the site.? You see this is a good question: but this is a negative comment: look at the followning comment which is related to dictionary and word definitions rather that site selling: This is a negative comment covered with a question. You can give one millions answers to this question. The best answer may be considered offensive. - the best answer is to stop adding nonsense and go study word definitions - There must be a way to stop this. .
Well, I'm sorry but have to disagree with you. This is a forum, and there's a community built on it. I understand that people shouldn't hijack threads, but opinions are welcome IMHO (or at least I welcome comments) for the health of the forum. I've given a quick read at the first page of the threadyou mention, and I'm sorry to say that it looks like you didn't understand how this works. But hey, I know nearly nothing about ebay but looks better for your bussines. Good luck.
I agree with tresman. Everyone here looks out for each other, if someone finds something they feel others need to know, they post it. We all work together here.
Well guys Thanks for reply What if I do the same. I assure you I can add much better negative comments. Will you back me if someone complains? Will you back me if moderators complain? .
Don't like comments? Go sell your stuff at Ebay, no one is forcing you to come here. This is a public forum and members watch out since lots of the stuff at the buy and sell board is just junk; many scams have been stopped thanks to other members posts.
You're lucky it's Christmas, mahmood. Usually, with fryman, you would have been hit by a photo by now... But basically, I agree fully with tresman and the others. People looking at your site have a perfect right to point out things they notice about the site that a potential buyer might want to take into consideration when or before making an offer. That's what forums are for. That's why many people come to places like this instead of eBay, as fryman said.
personally, i love the negative comments. there are a lot of scammers here, and it's the web. there's no set price or value on anything. there's 6 thousand other people on the forum. i don't think anyone cares what you do
mahmood, you should just start your own forums and then you'll be able to set all of the rules. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=517622#post517622 he he he he!
plus if a person selling an item can't answer questions such as "is your content stolen?" "how come you say you get X statistics, but your site is only X on the keyword" then they're obviously hiding something.
or at the very least they are giving that impression - like one of those used car salesman techniques: "never mind actually inspecting the car because I have two other buyers who want it"... If your comment involves an accurate observation or a question that any reasonable potential purchaser should be asking, fire away...
Even at paid forums like Dnforum you get these type of questions. The difference between a pro and a poor newbie is that the first one can actually answer any question he gets and refute any bad comment with facts, while the second one usually ends up crying like a baby and asking a mod to step in.
You just know fryman must have the Christmas spirit (or he's been into some other kind of spirits) when after two posts there's still no JNTSA or boohoo photo...
