Well mods, when you give someone an infraction on bumping a thread, please don't make it private. Keep the thread link there so that people could check which thread were they punished for.

You receive a email with the thread/post content, and the reason.
If the post somehow not suitable to leave live, then Mod just delete it. :)

3000+ posts full rep count and you bump threads? lol you know why they are deleted, so its not like you are a newbie here and need to learn the rules is it?

yea, but what about the new people who do bump threads, then they would make another thread in the Suggestions & Feedback forum being clueless lol

They aren't clueless. If they know reading emails, they can read the email with complete content of the post, what they posted which violated the rules, along with a message from Moderator, who gave you the infraction, stating why you deserved it, in short.

    Actually its the other one:

This option allows you to be notified if you receive an infraction.

If you do not want to receive these notices, disable this option (but please don't complain about not knowing why you received an infraction).
    Receive Infraction Notifications

    :)

I never modified it(as i didn't knew it was actually there), but still I'm getting notification for an infraction. That means its enabled by default.

Is this what private messages are meant for? I sorta knew you were going to do this. I wanted to post the message here itself but figured it would be better to just PM so as to avoid you facing public embarrassment.

    Here are your answers:

Did I complain about the infraction I got? NO (yes you posted this thread to complain)
    - I didn't complain about the infraction, I just asked that they at least let me know which thread I got it for in the infractions area itself.

Did I ask why I got the infraction? NO (bumping you know already)
    - I knew already, so?

Did I object to whatever the moderators did? NO (yes you complained about it being deleted)
    - I didn't object to anything, I just asked for the link to the thread.
