11 Proven Reasons Why Widget Bucks isn't a Scam

In every case they ban more that adsense.
It would be better if they can get thair statistic to work better so they will detect and eliminate fraud click as
google do.Also they should have smart pricing.

I know this is busiines so i wanna earn 70-80% of profiiter they getting from my visitors

 

You aren't right at all ... Widgetbucks bans most of the people and they keep all the money from advertisers. You should do a search on this forum and find out.

 

All I am seeing is 70% (or more) of members with poor English posts / replies - that are bagging Widget Bucks for being banned, well it comes across quite obvious why you guys were banned - Non English sites.

They never told us is the cry !!
Yes they did, it's within your best interest to read the WidgetBucks blog and find out what's going on. They told everyone on Thursday, October 25, 2007.

If you knew and continued to promote widget bucks then that's your choice and at your own risk.

 

Great post.... people here seem to forget that the whole internet advertising thing is not supposed to be about greedy webmasters trying to figure out how to scam as much as they can.

There is a big responsibility to where the money comes from in the first place, and that is the people that are paying for the ads.

They MUST get value for their advertising dollar, or it will all dry up and all of us will be screwed.

Conversions to a sale need to be something that we hope for for the advertiser, not just an empty click. These crappy sites with dubious 'clicks' that do nothing for the advertiser are not helping anybody.

We as webmasters need to do our part in providing quality content that will attract quality traffic that might click on ads that truly interest them without deception.

 

A question only English sites are allowed?

 

Big corporation, big names? One main thing to judge a company is the support ... you write a mail, you call the phone... and no replies, nobody is there? I reached less than $100 and suspended the ad displaying because seeing them reducing more than 40% of my daily earnings every time. As everybody stated here, the first payment is the biggest prove that they MIGHT not be scammers.

LoL No!! I just researched before I jumped on board, thought I would share with some members - who were doubting or getting worried aswell.

As for the support, well they're in Beta and may not have the employees yet, the list has 11 people/employees on it and not all are actively working within WB - some are investors and advisors.

I reckon we'll see some account managers soon.

Good list though I think.

 

Thsadmin, I was wondering how do you plan to receive payment now when your country is not supported? If you select US or Canada, you're cheating them and you could easily get banned.

LoL my Country isn't supported ? Yes it is. I have been approved, my last month was approved, simple as sending Tax dec' and PayPal i.d.

Even non-English sites can be approved, just apply prior to starting and prove you have decent traffic origins.

 

I'm currently looking at my Settings page and there are only United States and Canada on the list of supported countries. Perhaps you're part of some other Widget Bucks program?

I also have decent traffic and my payment is also confirmed.

 

I will have to log in when I get home and have a look, I was audited and approved anyway. Maybe I'm banned now also. Then I will jump on the haters list LoL.

Oh, I forgot to mention that my conversion from red to black was always positive. So, I'm pleased with RPC and everything else

Unfortunately, not me. Also if you select US or Canada, you're technically cheating them and they probably expect correct information.

 

Here's an interesting one - when I signed up I clearly entered my UK address, but now it has the same address but in the US. Now I never changed that, so how could they possibly ban me for providing the wrong information?

Oh could we be seeing an update shortly ? looks like it then, maybe it's going to be just US and UK ? I doubt it though, they better have us Aussies on the list, after all the US dollar is going to sh1t.

 

Following are the reasons why widgetbucks is a scam:
1) Do not get impressed with the people behind the company. Once Daewoo was the largest company of South Korea, now the owner of that company is in Jail!
2) Widgetbucks statastic are not real time. Once I used their widgets - My google analytics and webstats were showing more than 20000 page loads while widgetbucks were showing only around 2000!
3) Their CPC is too high and even they pay for International clicks. Their company is based in USA, even they get clicks from UK, Western Europe, or Australia - All the clicks will be useless for them because they can not ship the products.
4) Imagine if they pay that much amount to only USA traffic, still it is impossible for them to pay us. They are selling the products of reputed brands, they are not earning that much margins.

Still not convinced? Then be ready to be a victim of one of the largest scams online!

 

0. Everything is nice in the beginning...but after you earn something...
1. They will close your account and that is it
2. All earnings will be lost
3. Your identity, SSN number .... gone... to some guy in ....

So, it's not like they are a company, it's more like easy scam money company, sure they will end up in the jail, but who will wait for that?

I can see more and more people coming on this page...

ps. My account is closed for no reason, no explanation at all, so I'm assuming they are registered as a legal business, but doing illegal things to us,
