I don't believe it's against TOS to have more than one account.

Even if it were, what if you had an account, forgot the password, then made another one. Wouldn't be reasonable to block them.

Then again, e-gold and reasonable don't often go in the same sentence.

They have been blocking a lot of accounts with lots of money in them. They are asking the owners for verification to make sure they are keeping the fraud down.

Thanks for your answer for my question.
So, if we have more than 1 account using same identity, egold will be block our account.
And then, if we using proxy to access egold, egold will be block our account too.

In my experience e-gold only blocks new accounts. All of the new accounts that I created was blocked but my old ones (older then a year) still work fine without any problems.

I contacted e-gold when they blocked my seven't account asking what they require to unblock and why the blocked it. They only told me that they have right to close your account with or without reason att any given time.

Your only chance is to get a old account like 3xxxxxx. Then buy a dedicated VPN in a trusted country and use it to only access the e-gold website.

    e-gold is a bitch these days :(

@ terano, I don't think egold will block your account if you create morethan 1 account with same info. I think egold will like their user to have several accounts with the SAME REAL info rather having different account with fake infos.

I have several e-gold accounts, all of them with real info (fullname/address and contact numbers), never had any of them blocked. never had problem with egold except when they blocked lots of IP few months ago, but all is well now.

and oh, just incase you need a 3xxxxxx account, contact me or try to search for my threads. hehe

I think - egold only blocks your account if they find the transaction in it suspicious. or if someone report your account to egold saying you scam them or something like that.

This is absolutely wrong: I have had about min. 50 different e-gold accs all with the same info and none of them became blocked (only if I forgotten pw´s for them)

But if I got your e-gold account # and would complain about you your account would be blocked latest in 2 days. That´s the only reason I know

i find it as a trick to confiscate funds. mine was blocked for exploited IP reasons despite my IP not staying the same, changing every 2 hours. I even had my provider to contact them but nothing came out, still blocked with my egols stash.
