Whatever Rice is smoking now a days I think I want some to. Does she really believe that Palestinian and Israeli will EVER agree on peace and Palestinian state? If she does she is on some good shit I'll tell you that much.

Lets see a round of hands... well poll clicks who thinks Palestinian will have its own state within the next 5 years.

How can you have a peace agreement if they both have been fighting and killing each other for 1,000s of years?

    that is how it works
two nations at war kill each other until they are tired of fighting and then they make peace.
look at the video and you will see the voices of peace

that is because there is no war in Chicago
still why don't you support it. there is a peaceful solution for all the differences among them and the conditions are great for peace. we must support the moderates and oppose the extremists.

i apologize if i was mistaken.
we must show support for both side in their search for peace.they must feel politically comfortable in making a deal
we must be stronger than the extremists opposing it and there will be peace

Calm down. Read history first then jump :)

They have been living peacefully for those 1000s of years. It's just since the creation of the zionist regime that the conflict really started.

What a joke....the ´palestinian people´ never existed...they are only arabs...and yes they have now a palestinian state in Gaza and look what have they done...only more war poverty and no work...they use all of the money they get from help to buy arms to fight Israel.

Today I read that they spend 20 millon dollars per month buying weapons...

They are not entitled to have an independent country because they dont know how to run it!!

It hasn't happened in 60 years, and it won't happen any time soon. unless there is a miracle...

But miracles don't happen no more, remember?

Palestinians are in a wretched condition, and some members here will go to any lengths to proclaim that "Palestinians never existed" and that kind of bullshit.

But this is bound to happen. He who has the gold makes the rules. He who has power is always right. Might is always right...

Too bad Palestinians have lost the power game, or can I say the entire Arab world has lost the power game. They lost it when they sided with the British in First World War against the Turks. That was the beginning of the downfall. And it still continues...

Palestine will only become free when the Americans want them to be. Only USA has the power.

Palestinians are spending 20 million dollars to buy weapons per month? I didn't know that... But Israel is certainly spending a 100 times more than that on advanced weapon systems. Maybe someone forgot to tell... lol

It will take time. Europeans know the plight of Palestinians. It is time the Americans know about it as well. And once that happens, justice will prevail, and Palestinians will get their Homeland...

A man who owns a home and left and then came back is not an invader its the owner.

The general impression given in the media is that Palestinians have lived in the Holy Land for hundreds, if not thousands of years. No wonder, then, that a recent poll of French citizens shows that the majority believe (falsely) that prior to the establishment of the State of Israel an independent Arab Palestinian state existed in its place. Yet curiously, when it comes to giving the history of this ?ancient? people most news outlets find it harder to go back more than the early nineteen hundreds.

who said that the land belong to the israel?
it's already occupied by people before, long before the israel move in.
    then they left the land....
and they left the land for.... how many years? or maybe how many thousands years?

with you logic, is it ok for the aborigin to claim back they land? because it is their land long before the white man came and took it by force.
    this is old story....old debate...

and if you gonna give me some solid source, please don't give those crap form israelnationalnews

it seems that they might be getting closer.
i think it is very important that the voices for peace to get louder now and the moderate people on both side have to speakout in favour of peace so olmert and abbas feel that they have the backing of their people in pursue of peace.
i wish both of them all the luck in the world in the pursue of peace and i invite others to do the same.

If Palestine would stop letting itself be overrun by terrorists, they have a great chance of peace.. A great many Palestinians work and live in Israel in complete peace. There is no reason why they could not do it in Palestine as well..

Gaza is already a Palestinian terror state and the West Bank with collapse fast after an Israeli withdrawl to create a second Plaestinian terror state.

In fact, the Palestinians already have a state and it is called Jordan. The Jordanians are Palestinians. If you look at your history the area was called TransJordan up until 1948. I can't understand that the Arabs haven't granted the Palestinians citizenship and integrated them as they are supposed to be brothers. In most Arab countries the Palestinians are still living in refugee camps.

The situation is something similiar to what happened to Prussia after WW2. The Russians annexed Prussia and expelled the Prussians. The area was renamed Kaliningrad and is now a little known enclave between Poland and Lithuania. Imagine if the Germans put all the Prussians in refugee camps and the Prussians started a PLO and were attacking their neighbors. The world would be outraged.
