Just reading the title got my mouth watering. My favourite burger: Nice thick patty done med-well Bacon(!!!) Cheese (swiss or cheddar) Sauteed mushrooms and onions (mmmmmm...) Some lettuce and a slice of tomato Ketchup and a pickle on the side. Now my stomach is growling.

The perfect burger.. Well, it has to still have a heart beat.. My perfect burger is the one that stands on its own, ie., needs no fixins at all.. Some great burgers: What a Burger Fred's Park View (in Burlington, WI.) Steak n Shake White Castle Hamlets Hamburgers (I think that is what it is called) perhaps CR knows of that place... it's in Chicago.. Hands down one of the best... The 5 X 5 from Ron's in Kenosha, WI... Just about any hole in the wall bar is gonna make a damn fine burger.. When it comes to chains, the ones I mentioned above are some of my favorites... I always like Hardee's Mushroom n Swiss as well.. The SPOT in Kenosha makes good burger too.. Some of the best burgers are the ones you make yourself... I like to start with ground chuck or sirloin, an egg, some bread crumbs, parmesan, salt, pepper and onions and of course, Liquid Smoke.. Then fire up the ole grill!!!
I vote that we name this thread the most "hunger inducing" thread on DP! Sadly, I have not had cheese fries since I was a teenager... Thanks for reminding me of what I am missing...
The perfect hamburger for me has a nice thick tender patty, with mayo and ketchup, top with tomato,pickles and pineapple.
They used to have this thing down in Texas called the Mustard Whopper... I asked for one of those at the BK in town once and they were like, what the hell?
So WTH is it? A Whopper with extra mustard? I knew a girl once, who was a vegetarian, but she loved to go to Burger King and order a Double Whopper with NO meat! She insisted that you would get more veggies & stuff on it if you ordered it as a Double...
Damn skippy! A Whopper loaded with MUSTARD!!! YUMMY!!! Yeah, there was this freaky hippie chick that used to come into Hardee's (worked there way back when I was in college).... She always asked for a mushroom and swiss burger with no burger... What a waste.. It was like a crime charging for it. Man did she stink... I got the impression that vegetarians did not bath...
