Logo Contest: $30 for a nice clean, web 2.0 logo

I am looking for a nice, clean, web 2.0ish logo for a media site.

Site name = desi media
slogan = dekho desi tv (means, watch indian television)
www.desimedia.com (the current site will be deleted)

The site is like YouTube for Indians.

I am looking for a nice sized logo to put on the main page centered.

Kind of a theme off of something familiar, however if you're looking for a dark background based logo I can change the idea around abit. Just tell me if you like the idea, or if I should scrap totally - and what color background if possible.

Desi media logo design,

 

well, can I not post my results at this time? because people sometimes** build on one another's ideas - and I don't want my idea to be stolen, only to be improved or what not.
If it's alright with you, desimedia, I would like to post my designs on the very last day of this competition.
