Which online business is on fire these days?

Discussion in 'General Business' started by ientrepreneur, Nov 11, 2007.

Some months before most people want to build their own proxies for money!! Now the proxy days are gone. I think niche social networks are the best online business for now. Is there any other hot online business for now? What is the best business to start online these days?

What i mean here is that most people involved in proxy and image hosting business and also many new people are trying to start these businesses. SO In a competitive market it is hard to make more revenue.

If a business is new like niche social network, if the niche is really good you can make quick cash. I'm asking about new businesses which will make profit. I want to start the next generation business.... “The early bird gets the worm”

In that case you're a little late for social networks?
If you want to start the next generation business, then don't ask a forum who think proxy websites are 'cutting edge'. Do something original, ie. come up with something yourself.

Playing the online *tube game is still working quite well from what I've heard.
Youtube/DailyMotion for generic things, and pornotube/redtube/youporn etc for adult.

All of it is quick cash .. question is how long would you like to be in it? That would determine where you should put your efforts ..

The ability to make a series of profitable short term investments is just fine. It allows you to build up a portfolio of sites, and eventually the residual incomes from all your past projects adds up, and makes it worthwhile.

Hmm, then you need to tell BIG cash, and also quick. Not just quick.
Social network is not new trend definitely. They are 2.5 years old if I am not mistaken. Or at least 2. In terms of online they are a bit old;)

The problem is nobody probably will not tell what is hot, if so he will do it himself and become an early bird:)

While image hosts and proxy are saturated and not new. There is still a profit. Depends on model you want. You way want to have tens of small incomes in which case they will be good.

By the way if somebody will tell you or you will discover the next generation business please PM me:D

To directly answer this threads question: I do market research a lot and have my own product line focusing on aff networks to sell my goods, so I'm always on a similar hunt...

    1. Pay to play - Any sites (gaming, surveys, social networks uvme/yewie).

    2. Health Industry - eBooks/videos/audios of fat loss, muscle building, male enhancement.

    3. Adult/TGP's/ - Webmaster and wanker focused :p A self-replicating loop if you do it right.

    4. Online Gaming - Cut throat industry and saturated, but you can buy ready made systems and take a crack at marketing them if you are interm/advanced.

    5. Info Products - again ebooks/audio/video of 'how to' do something yourself or with guidance from the authors.

    6. Mobile sites - Evolving quickly, saturated as well but nearly as much as anything above - techology is too new to stay ahead unless you're funded.

    7. Design/Marketing/Branding Conuslting - More and more newcomers are online needing help with their positioning and growth (though considering this sounds like a new venture for you, maybe wait until you have proven success for this).

    8. MFA/AFF sites - Compilations of reseller products aimed at niche markets to monetize others goods in any field(s) you may choose.

    9. Domain Games - Yes, still a lot of money in the domain flipping game if you have some capital and time to play with.

    10. JV With New technology - This is never ending, and staying up to date with your knowledge base/research, and building or climbing on board a joint venture to pool your resources is probably the biggest money maker once you prove success in a hot 'seller of the month'...

Cheers, while these may not be new, they are pulling in revenue and will for a long time, perhaps i've missed a few - including 'recurring billing' membership sites, PLR+MRR sites, niche forums etc... Best of luck to you with whatever venture you take on. Feel free to check my siggs for some ideas, I'm always on the lookout to partner and or help people monetize our ideas.

    Norb.
