How can you get lot of backlinks fast?

Is there anything to do,for geting relevant link to your website fast? Is it normal to send 100 mails and receive only 2-3 response?

 

Find a list of social bookmarking sites and start submitting. At least you'll get a few backlinks fromt ehSB sites and if your site is good enough people may feel compelled to link to yours.

 

Use the co-op ad network

 

Social media, blogs, forum. You can get free back links in this.

You may also try directory submission but to quality directories that are already indexed by SE. That would give you multiple links as each directory may be indexed by different SEs - E.g. Google.UK, Google.Au

Another method that is the easiest is to drop comments like what I am doing now (assumingly I have live links and signature) to forums and blogs. Over time this links will be validated by SE and it will give you good inbound links too.

Sticking with white hat ways, Link Baiting can be done to get lot of backlinks but it is never a sure shot method. You can also purchase some directory links or do social bookmarking. That is not a very easy task. The event that gets people a massive surge of links is usually types of link bait. Though it really roles down to luck.

 

Hmm for some reason If go and build say 20 backlinks google drops my site off the serps for about 12-40 hours or so. Yesterday My site was all fine, Was ranking #3 for "facebook proxies" and some other keywords. I spent several hours adding some more backlinks with the anchor text "facebook proxies" to that URL (see sig)
and then a few hours later google drops my site. Its gone! Real pain in the ass. I don't understand it,

I notice stuff like that too, but even without the linking part.... for some reason it seems like when google gives a site a good ranking for a decent keyword it wants to take it away just as fast... I found myself ranking top page for a nice one word keyword the other day, and the next day I was gone completely from the top 100 pages for the same keyword... it makes no sense

fast backlinking is easy to arrange but do you really want it fast? it could bring you trouble...fast.

 

Probably. You are trying to manipulate the search results by building back links and if you are not careful enough Google will see that.

Getting links should be in a natural process, it should not look like a quick process. Moreover SEO is an ongoing process, so it would be better to get a fixed number of backlinks at a regular period.
