Well, they'd need your password too, so it's pretty safe if you've got a good secure password.

    Yes it is safe.

Of course, if bad people get it and decide to send funds from hacked accounts, it may cause brain trouble in the later time, but typically, it is safe.

I agree it is safe but I would like to amplify the "password" part. Your PP password should be different from every other password that you use. It should be alpha and numeric and a combo of caps and regular. It should not be stored on your internet computer.

But how will you receive payments in your Paypal account if you do not give your Paypal email ID...Don't worry it is absolutely safe BUT you will have to take care when you click on links connecting to Paypal ( or any online processor ) on the emails you receive. Some people send such emails that take you to phishing sites that you may not be able to differentiate from the original ones. So take care...

Its definitely safe. You can always cancel payments made by filing a request with Paypal as well. It's not that difficult.

I've never had a problem with giving my PayPal email addy out. Just make sure your PayPal password is unique from all other passwords that you use. Also for extra protection use a completly unrelated PayPal password with lots of digits and make it alphanumeric..

depends, someone can mess with your account (if they really want to). i could make a new userid in some forum and start scamming people. your account and fund might be freeze by paypal. Even they didn't you will have to explain to paypal what happened, and those being scammed will start bothering you
