Greetings Everybody, I've been using this program called WidgetBucks since mid-october and I had earned around $320 with it till date (included November too). Now I get this "fancy" little e-mail from the WidgetBucks team saying that my account has been "suspended". Ooh la la, that did hurt - a loss of $320! Want to know the reason? Ad-only Page, know what the heck that means? I wrote a few articles about mobile phones and placed WidgetBucks ads on the pages and they call it "Ad-only bullsh*t" ????? I say NEVER use them. ALSO, I had seen a few days when my CPC dropped drastically, that's right $0.02 per click - Compare that to the mighty AdSense NOW! Wouldn't you call these jokers a scam? The e-mail I got from these maniacs is as follows :- I am writing this e-mail in sheer frustration so I'm sorry for my "different" style of writing. One of my friend has also been banned because of the same reason. I just spoke to him on MSN. Looks like they have indeed showed their true colors and have started what we may call a 'mass' ban spree.
Actually i was expecting something like this coz the last months earnings was to be posted in the site...so the scammers banned at the right time wasting all our money and time...someone sue those scammers
Pretty suspicious that the account bans start happening as it gets near time for their first payout. If they falsely banned people for "ad only sites" then those people should pool their resources and go after WidgetBucks. Sounds like there might be quite a lot of money in dispute. You guys should take action.
i have 420$ in my widgetbucks account .they told the 50$ payment will be released at mid january?really they pays the cash?
i have emailed them...but dont have any hope!even when the account was active they hardly replied to emails... so expecting those scammers to reply after my account is banned!anyway...
I just gotted banned too for "Pornographic content" and I run a flash games site. They are trying to suspend everyone. Looks we got noticed at around the same time.
I would replace the CAPITAL S in Sucks with a CAPITAL F - thats how I feel about these cheats. Seems like they are scamming big time right now with accounts being banned for fun, so they can sit back and enjoy all the profits. Its such a simple idea really - create a PPC program, delay payout for 2 months, and just before payday, start banning all the accounts, so you can keep the money all to yourself. Lets see how many members actually get paid in December !!! I could probably count the number on one hand.
