Marketing your website

I am going to share a few simple ways that work great to help boost your websites traffic. At the end I do ask one favor that is unrelated.

1. Write 3 unique articles that are related to your niche. These articles must not already be on your site.

2. Download the attached .xls file. This XLS sheet has a basic layout that will help you keep track of what you are doing.

3. Create an account at gather.com and post one article to this account. Make a link within the article back to the page on your site you want to promote. Be sure to highlight the keywords you are targeting in the link. One link only not two links. Now grab your rss feed from your new gather account and place that in the correct field on the xls sheet.

4. Create an account at squidoo.com. Place another article in the new account and link back to your site. Create another text module and talk about something relating to your site and mention your site in the little snippet. Now place the gather rss feed into your squidoo account and if you have an rss feed for your own site ad that as well. Take you squidoo rss feed and place it into the xls sheet.

5. Create a new accoutn at hubpages.com and inlcude your squidoo rss feed , gather rss feed and your site rss feed if you like. Ad your third article to this site as well. Take your Hubpages rss feed and place it in the xls sheet.

6. Create an account at mybloglog.com and submit your blog. Be sure and make a good profile. Now join several other related blogs.

7. create an account at technorati.com and claim your blog.

8. Create an account at onlywire.com and submit all the sites you just created including your own. This will take a little time but worth the results. I would recomend creating a few throw away e-mail accounts for this process.

9. create an account at 43 things and make a few posts. Then create something you want to do related to your niche and include a link to your main site.

10. Ping your new sites at ping.in and be sure to select all the ping services.

There are many more things you can do to promote your site but these should help get a little more traffic your way. It may seem a bit much at first but after a few times you will blow threw this with ease.
