That is what I took from it to. This doesn't mean that 20% of total UK internet users are diabled (maybe retarded though :p ).

Someone chime in if they read differently

lol... it comes from spending too much time at the local pub :D

seriously, tho, i used to work with a blind software engineer... you wouldn't believe how long it takes a blind person to navigate a computer that has to use speech as the interface.

anyone that has to deal with that deserves some free bandwidth out here to rant about accessibility.

I have no issue with being proved wrong - I just have no interest in spending my time digging around to find the info.

I already cited the source (RNIB) - if you really care about it that much go check it out.

I did a search on the info and that's the first thing that came up that looked right - Like I mentioned - It wasn't the original source....

Either way I couldn't give a shit - don't design for standards, it just means more revenue for us that do.

Congratulations Paul! It's too bad that what you were trying to accomplish went way over the heads of most here. You even took some ridicule for it. Good on you for standing up for what you believe in.

To those who bashed Paul for what he was doing, you look pretty f*cking stupid now, don't you!

I'm missing a place folder* for valid WCAG 'AAA', but it's 'WACAG AA' is an acceptable compromise. I genuinely understand Googles reticence for not allowing this, but the type of people that prepopulate the search box with high paying keyword aren't the type to care about accessible code eh.

A step towards progressing accessibility and you didn't have to alienate yourself from a forum to push the issue, either. :)
