State / Post - Zip Codes from the globe ?

    I am after a few examples from different parts of the globe for State / Post - Zip Codes to allow me to test for room.

    In Aus we have for example a State / Post code as below

    AUS - VIC - 3214

    What i would like are some examples from the States / UK and other regions, if you could help out it would be appreciated. :)

    In USA we have a 5 digit zip code. For example in Houston, TX we have 77024. There are others depending where you reside in Houston.

    In the UK its different

    we use the letter of the nearest large city, and then the following number shows how far we live from it - in terms of postal zones, not miles/km etc.

    For example M15 8JS

    The M 15 means we are 15 away from manchester. The other 3 numbers i dont know about, but thats how it is in the UK:)

    In the Netherlands we have 4 Digits and 2 Letters. For example 1234 AA. When you add the housenumber, you'll have a unique code which identifies one location (house) in the Netherlands.

    In India it is a 6 digit code, like where i live is -

    Hyderabad, AP in India - 500068
